Malika Begin

After a successful career in the people development space for the past 10 years, Malika started Begin Development to bring her signature style to companies that are looking to build strong, healthy, organizational culture. Her dedication to corporate health resonates from her belief that leaders who have the resources and tools to inspire their employees, expect radical transparency and foster honesty are the biggest asset a company of any kind can have to successfully carry out its vision.

Malika has worked in several different types of organizations including student groups at Pepperdine University, innovative startups that experienced the excitement and pain of rapid growth and most recently, at the award-winning agency, McBeard, which was named one of Ad Age’s Best Places To Work in 2016.

Malika is certified as a Strengthsfinder coach, negotiation facilitator via Straus Institute, Pepperdine Law and is currently working toward her Masters in Organizational Development from the Graziadio Business School at Pepperdine University.

Prior to launching Begin Development and working with organizations to create a healthy organizational culture, Malika produced television and film and worked in celebrity PR. Always seeking out new adventures, she has backpacked around the world, is an advanced scuba diver and played college soccer at California Lutheran University.  She lives with her husband and three boys in Malibu, CA.
